PAST CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS |
At the top of each page of RazorbackFoundation.com are images of the various facilities that support the 19 sports and over 450 Razorback student-athletes. Each of them was the result of past efforts to raise funds and gifts to create the finest overall athletic department infrastructure in the Southeastern Conference, if not in all of collegiate athletics.![]() The most recent effort for our facilities by our membership was the return of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium to a synthetic playing surface. For updates on the progress, jump to the football page at ArkansasRazorbacks.com. ![]() Another recent achievement by Razorback Foundation, Inc., members that is on display for the entire nation, if not the world, is new John McDonnell Field for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships in June. ![]() Razorback golf would not have been as successful for the 2009 NCAA National Championship Runner-up men's team or the 2007 NCAA Women's Individual National Champion Stacy Lewis without the Fred and Mary Smith Razorback Golf Training Facility at Blessings. ![]() Razorback gymnastics won the 2009 NCAA South Central Regional and finished in the Super Six at the 2009 NCAA Championships thanks to the ability to train in the Huntley Gymnastics Center at the Bev Lewis Center for Women's Athletics. ![]() Hosting the 2008 Men's SEC and the 2009 Women's SEC is the new Billingsley Tennis Center -- the only collegiate playing facility with a full six-court indoor area in the SEC. Razorback tennis has seen national indoor singles titles and "final four" finishes at the NCAA Singles Championships by Blake Strode (2009) and Aurelija Miseviciute (2008). Of course, at the top of this page is Bogle Park, the most recently completed competition facility for the Razorbacks. The all chair back, state-of-the-art softball stadium opened in the spring of 2009. These are just a handful of reasons why your participation in the Razorback Foundation, Inc., and its past capital campaigns are a vital part of the future success of the Razorbacks.
